I'm frustrated having tried VS and bought it based on the actual tracking working well, I assumed the niggles/GUI would be improved with updates, but even basic things requested (audio feedback on errors etc) which should be trivial to implement seem to be ignored.
When we paid for VS we were assured updates would be free, so certainly I was under the impression this would be developed with updates in the future.
I just tried to use VS for the first time in a while, and silly frustrations make this painful.
- Layout does not match Go app, ie map on left not right, voltage/sat counts positions different at top of screen and too small to read, writing is very small to read on an iPad mini - I suspect its unreadable on anything smaller which shouldn't be hard to fix.
- 'F-mode must be selected' kept coming up, I was in F-mode, but hadn't realised Go app was still running in background, better error message and audible alert/feedback would make this much better and again cannot be hard to implement.
- Controls much too aggressive, I understand this is an issue with the SDK, so may not be fixable, but this should be acknowledged if so.
What I find crazy is the visual tracking must be the complex part, audible feedback, useful error message text and easy to read on screen information should be the really easy part.
